Site Surveys & Planning & Design Advice
We conduct an initial site survey during which we assess and take key measurements of the property so we can give you the best possible planning & Design advice regarding the development of your property.
Upon taking full measurements of your property, we provide proper CAD scaled drawings of the existing and of the proposal (in PDF format), including floor plans, sections and elevations as well as building control notes and technical specifications.
Planning & Building Control Applications
We act as agents on your behalf, putting together and submitting Planning & Building Control applications as well as Thames Water build over agreement applications. We take pride in having an excellent success rate in obtaining Planning Permissions. We deal with the application(s) on your behalf and we keep you updated during the process.
Supplementary Planning Documentation
We also devise design and access statements, planning supporting statements, heritage statements, sunlight simulation studies etc.
CITB Accredited Party Wall Surveying
We draft and deliver the proper Party Wall notices to your neighbours for you under the Party Wall Act. Most often, if the notices are not consented to within 14 days you will have to appoint party wall surveyors. Our CITB accredited surveyors will also be able to fulfill this role provided we have not been involved in the project so far so we can act impartially.
If you feel that the Planning decision was not a fair one, we can advise you whether it is worth going for a Planning appeal or not and eventually assist you during the appeal process. However, you should keep in mind that Planning appeals are relatively long and costly procedures and that the average success rate is relatively low.
